Applications for all products include electrical, electronic, medical, military and OEM. Both supply and equipment ends of cords meet NEMA and IEC standards. North American Power Cords
North American cords are keyed by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) in relation to both current and voltage. All North American cords are UL and C-UL approved.

The Auto-Lock is an internal retention mechanism that actually hooks to the pins of power supply inlets and resists any axial force unless the Auto-Lock mechanism is released! Tremendous amounts of force cannot get the electrical connector to budge, but as soon as the IEC Auto-Lock mechanism is manually deactivated, the connector slips easily out of the inlet.
Hospital Grade Power Cords and Green Dot Medical Power Cords
Power cords used in hospital environments are subject to special requirements by Underwriters Laboratories. Before granting approval, UL applies rigorous tests which check durability and conductivity to ensure that the product operates at peak levels. Once a product line is approved, it is stamped with the green dot which is the trademark of hospital grade UL cords.
